A.W. Tozer wrote, “Time is a resource that is nonrenewable and nontransferable. You cannot store it, slow it up, hold it up, divid it up or give it up. you can’t hoard it or save it for a rainy day-when it it is lost it is unrecoverable. When you kill time, remember that it has no resurrection.
The bible in psalm 90:12 say
“So teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom”.
Many people in the world today spend most of their life fighting the clock. They stay up late and go to sleep late, Others drive so fast because they are trying to get to some place ON time, and yet others engage in very unhealthy habits of eating from fast foods because they claim not to be having the time to prepare healthy meals. What a contrast from the life of Christ!!!
In the bible, we are not told of any incident were Jesus was rushing to do something. He always had ample time for every good work-ranging from considering the flowers and the birds of the air to the healing of Lazarus and even His dying on the cross for our sakes. Jesus had learnt to number his days-wisdom that only God can provide. Dear friend, I beseech you to “Learn to number your day”
