A while ago, I read an article in the Kenyan paper the “Nation” which was quite interesting. The story was featuring two boy who were of the same age-around eleven years old. One of the boys was paralyzed waist down and so was not able to walk on his own.
Out of his own volition, the other boy who had by this point developed a strong friendship bond with the the physically handicapped boy, took it upon himself to carry his friend on his back to and from school each and everyday. He made sure that his friend was transported from class to class and to sporting events-and just to remind you, he did all these on his back. Many people tried to discourage him from doing this because of obvious reasons like retarding his growth as a result of heavy weight on his back. He closed his ears to the many voice and continues to do this to this day.
The point I am trying to put across is that, Our God will carry us and will deliver us at all times. And even if the devil, like the so many people who tried to discourage the young boy from carrying his friend, keeps on shouting to God to drop us because of our sin, Our God will no let us down. He has not done so in the past and He has no intention to, in the future. All we have to do is to be willing partners. On our own, we are very much like that paralyzed boy, but with God, we form a strong army that no one can bring down. God loves you and he will carry you. Be blessed
